Spring Ceylon was founded by Sri Lankans who now call the Netherlands home. Our connection to Sri Lanka is more than just the origin of our products — it is part of who we are.
Living and building our lives in the Netherlands has given us a firsthand understanding of both sides of the journey: the richness and diversity of Sri Lankan spices, and the expectations of European customers and businesses.

From Sri Lankan Origins to European Supply
Today, Spring Ceylon is evolving from its successful online retail beginnings into a B2B-focused Sri Lankan spice business, supplying larger quantities to importers, wholesalers, distributors, food manufacturers, retailers, and other businesses across Europe.
Our Sri Lankan roots, local connections, and European presence allow us to understand both the source and the market — helping us connect European buyers with reliable sources of authentic Sri Lankan spices.

Our Journey
The Beginning
Spring Ceylon began with a simple idea: to bring authentic Sri Lankan spices from their source in Ceylon to homes in Europe. Founded by Sri Lankans living in the Netherlands, we started by importing Ceylon Cinnamon, black pepper, and cloves and introducing them to customers in the Dutch market.
Growing Through Online Sales
Our products quickly reached customers beyond our original circle. We sold through online platforms including bol.com and Facebook Marketplace, serving customers across the Netherlands and neighbouring markets. Positive feedback, repeat purchases, and very good customer reviews confirmed the demand for authentic Sri Lankan spices.
A Pause, Not an Ending
As our professional commitments grew, we decided to temporarily pause Spring Ceylon. The business took a break, but our connection with Sri Lanka, our experience in the European market, and our passion for quality spices remained.
A New Vision
Spring Ceylon returns with a bigger vision: to build a strong B2B supply business focused on larger quantities, connecting European importers, wholesalers, distributors, food businesses, and retailers with trusted sources of authentic Sri Lankan spices.
